Exhibit "A" Scope of Work March 16, 2010 The City of Pleasanton Operations Services Department (CITY) has purchased Continental Utility Solutions, Inc (CUSI)'s Customer Information System software, herein referred to as UMS.net. In conjunction with the purchase of UMS.net, CITY requires software enhancements be made and implementation services be rendered under the terms and conditions of the Software Purchase and Professional Services Agreement between CUSI and CITY dated March 16, 2010. Scope This Statement of Work (SOW) will define the work to be performed by CUSI and CITY which shall include but not be limited to services to be rendered, activities to be performed, responsibilities of the parties, and a complete Project Plan for the delivery and implementation of UMS.net. Project Management CUSI and CITY will each provide project managers who will be responsible for all resource scheduling, day to day activities and oversight of the project. Project managers will be responsible for and oversee all other resources working on the project. PHASE1: DISCOVERY CUSI Responsibilities: CUSI will performed a review of both functional and technical business processes for the CITY including but not limited to the following areas: o General business requirements o Meter reading requirements o Service and work orders requirements o Rates, billing, credit and collections requirements o Reporting requirements o Data conversion requirements o Interface requirements CUSI will document business requirements as collected and understood, then will submit to the CITY for approval. CITY Responsibilities The CITY will provide resources with the following subject matter expertise: Business process requirements: General information (ie: account setup) Meter reading requirement Service and work orders requirements Rates, billing, credit and collections requirements Data conversion requirements Interface requirements The CITY is responsible for confirming all requirements documented and presented.
