Shown in Table 2, the separation of A -2a into two projects, given the developed prioritization scoring, would drop the funding priority of the southern section of State Route 84 from third to sixth. This separation not only drops the ranking of the SR 84 project, but moves several medium cost projects to a higher priority creating approximately 50 million dollars of projects as higher priority. City staff does not support this approach.
