<br />D. Siqnificant Effect. Increase in police and fire <br />protection services will be required. <br /> <br />d.l Finding. The recommended mitigation measures <br />incorporated into the Project to decrease demand <br />on police and fire protection services will <br />substantially lessen the effect. <br /> <br />d.2 Fact. The following Conditions have been <br />incorporated into the Project: <br /> <br />(I) The Project and individual sites shall be <br />subject to the provisions of the City's <br />Fire Code and nationally recognized <br />standards. (Nos. 26, 31, 32.) <br /> <br />(2) Buildings shall have alarms as required and <br />visible street numbers, fire hydrant <br />locations shall be marked. (Nos. 46, 33, <br />30.) <br /> <br />(3) Procedure for the safe handling and storage <br />of combustible or explosive materials will <br />be established. (No. 61.) <br /> <br />(4) Fire hazards shall be minimized within the <br />bounds of the Project site. (Nos. 28, 29, <br />103, 47.) <br /> <br />(5) The Developer shall provide on-site private <br />security guards as determined by the Police <br />Chief. (No. 54.) <br /> <br />d.3 Findinq. Pursuant to a Mitigation Agreement <br />between City and Developer, Developer has agreed <br />to contribute to the required funding of <br />required fire stations, equipment and personnel. <br /> <br />d.4 Fact. The Mitigation Agreement has been <br />recorded against the Property. <br /> <br />d.5 Fact. The petition to form the North Pleasanton <br />Fire Improvement District ("NPFID") has been <br />completed and work on forming the NPFID has <br />begun. <br /> <br />d.6 Finding. Project revenues will be greater than <br />Project costs for all City services, including <br />police and fire services. <br /> <br />11. <br />
