9. The applicant is responsible for the orderly conduct of people attending the meeting. <br />10. Rooms are not available for private parties. <br /> <br />Section II Administrative Meeting Rooms <br /> <br />1. The primary purpose of Administrative Meeting Rooms is to provide meeting space for City <br /> staff and elected/appointed officials for conducting City business. When not in use for this <br /> purpose, the meeting rooms are available to the public on a priority basis as follows: <br /> <br /> First Priority: For meetings directly related to a City service, issue or business. <br /> <br /> Second Priority: For meetings of a for non-profit or community-based organization <br /> whose purposes are civic, cultural, or educational or a profit making organization <br /> provided the meeting is for educational or noncommercial purposes with no <br /> immediate or follow-up sales activity. <br /> <br />2. Reservations may not be made more then one calendar month prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />3. Meeting room use is limited to a maximum of three hours. <br /> <br />4. Scheduling is limited to one meeting and room usage is not intended to accommodate on <br /> going regularly scheduled meetings. <br /> <br />5. Meeting rooms are available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through <br /> Friday, except that the City Council Chamber is available between the hours of 5:00 p.m. - <br /> 10:00 p.m. on weekdays provided City staff supervision is available. <br /> <br />6. The City will not provide technology equipment such as TV/VCR or overhead projectors or <br /> additional tables or chairs to accommodate a meeting. <br /> <br />7. Prior to approving a meeting room reservation, the interested party is required to complete a <br /> meeting room application form that must be submitted to the City Manager's Office. <br /> <br /> 8. The City may reschedule or cancel a meeting to accommodate a City purpose. <br /> <br />III. Library Meeting Rooms <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting rooms is to further the Pleasanton Public Library's mission to meet <br />the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of the community. Primary use of <br />the meeting rooms is for library programs.
