To allow <br /> this variance would set a precedent for future development and negate the current <br /> zoning. <br /> It may be of interest to you that when the landowners gave the land for the golf <br /> course, the density allowed was one lot for every ten acres owned. <br /> Increasing the proposed development to 6 lots would be absolutely inconsistent with <br /> the philosophy of keeping the rural atmosphere of Happy Valley, and with <br /> surrounding development.
