<br />ÐÔßÒÒ×ÒÙ ÝÑÓÓ×ÍÍ×ÑÒ <br />Ó×ÒËÌÛÍ <br />City Council Chamber <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />APPROVED <br />Wednesday, September 23, 2009 <br />(Staff has reviewed the proposed changes against the recorded proceedings <br />and confirms that these Minutes are accurate.) <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission Regular Meeting of September 23, 2009, was called to order <br />at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Pearce. <br />1.ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present: Brian Dolan, Director of Community Development; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; Janice Stern, Principal Planner; and <br />Maria L. Hoey, Recording Secretary <br />Commissioners Present: Chair Jennifer Pearce, Commissioners Phil Blank, Kathy <br />Narum, Arne Olson, and Jerry Pentin <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Greg O’Connor <br />Chair Pearce recognized retiring Michael Roush as this was his last meeting with the <br />Planning Commission. She and the other Commissioners thanked him for his <br />knowledge, advice and patience, and presented him with a token of appreciation. <br />2.APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. September 9, 2009 <br />Referring to his statement on page 12, paragraph 9, Commissioner Pentin clarified that <br />his comments regarding whether or not web designers or graphic artists are exempt <br />home occupations would not affect his situation as his web designer works in Boulder <br />Creek and not in Pleasanton. <br />Jack Balch noted that the minutes were well written and follows much of what he said; <br />however, he made the following clarifications with reference to his statements on <br />page 7, paragraphs 6 and 7: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, September 23, 2009 Page 1 of 34 <br /> <br />
