1 <br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> December 1, 2009 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Cook Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m.; led the <br /> Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook Kallio <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated that Item 4, a Planning Commission action related to Red Coats Pub <br /> and Restaurant, has been appealed and will return before the Council as a public hearing item <br /> later this month or the following month; Item 14, Great Race for Clean Air presentation, has <br /> been continued to January 2010; and the Closed Session item related to a ground lease <br /> negotiation with the Sharks organization has been rescheduled for December 15, 2009. <br /> Vice -Mayor Cook Kallio stated that Item 7 pertains to street improvements located within 500 <br /> feet of her home and she recused herself due to the conflict of interest. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Adopted Resolution No. 09 -325 setting the 2010 Calendar Year City Council Meeting <br /> Schedule <br /> City Attorney <br /> 2. Adopted Resolution No. 09 -326 adopting a Policy for the Distribution of Event Tickets in <br /> compliance with State Law <br /> 3. Introduced and waived first reading of Ordinance No. 2000 to amend the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code to replace references to the Public Works Director, Planning Director, <br /> Planning Department, Building Department, Director of Building Inspection, and Director of <br /> Engineering to coincide with organizational changes <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 5. Accepted public improvements performed by W. R. Forde Associates for Annual Sanitary <br /> Sewer Replacement, CIP No. 082002; authorized the filing of a notice of completion and <br /> the payment of retention in the amount of $13,224.02 <br />
