Attachment 1 <br /> City of Pleasanton <br /> Department of Parks and Community Services <br /> Civic Arts Program <br /> CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 20th day of January 2010 by and <br /> between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> "City and Barbara Lewis, Attention Business Communications, whose address is 4696 <br /> Laramie Gate Ct., Pleasanton, CA 94566 and telephone number is 925- 600 -1606, (hereinafter <br /> referred to as the "Consultant <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing, marketing <br /> services and has offered its services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the services of <br /> Consultant for the purposes provided herein. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and <br /> conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and <br /> furnish the materials, reports, drawings, and related materials as hereinafter set forth: <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A Scope of <br /> Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the City, other pertinent <br /> agencies, and/or individuals as necessary to complete the scope of work <br /> outlined in Section 1 (a) above. <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide if <br /> necessary, plans, reports and any other relevant guidance. <br /> 3, Staff. The Project Manager for Consultant shall be Barbara Lewis. Consultant <br /> shall not replace Barbara Lewis without prior approval of the City. <br /> 4. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. All reports, drawings, plans and <br /> specifications prepared for City shall be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which <br /> they are prepared. <br />
