consistent approach to media relations leading up to the Grand Opening of the <br /> Firehouse Arts Center, staff is recommending that this contract be renewed for this <br /> period through October, 2010. <br /> The scope of work for the attached contract includes a broad range of services which <br /> are closely related to the successful public presentation of Civic Arts <br /> programs /events /presentations, and the development and initial implementation of the <br /> marketing, branding, and publicity plans for the Firehouse Arts Center. Services <br /> include: <br /> 1. Development of Civic Arts Season and School Concert brochures from concept to <br /> print coordination, including press check in conjunction with the graphic designer. <br /> 2. Ongoing media relations and marketing coordination (i.e. responding to media <br /> inquiries and requests for additional information, interviews, photography, <br /> marketing /planning meetings, and phone calls). <br /> 3. Research, writing, and electronic distribution of news releases, entertainment <br /> calendar announcements (print and online), Public Service Announcements and <br /> related media contact and follow -up of each event. <br /> 4.
