(a) Separation of Sewer Connections_ All <br />Premises, except those for which private sewerage systems <br />are permitted as provided in this Chapter, shall have <br />independent connections with the City Sewer; provided, that <br />multiple Premises located on a single parcel of land which <br />cannot be subdivided and which Premises are all under one <br />ownership may, upon approval of the Director, be connected <br />to the same Service Lateral_ <br />(b) Sewer Plans for Group of Buildings_ No group <br />of buildings shall be connected to a City Sewer without <br />first having the plan of the private sewerage system serving <br />such buildings approved by the Director_ <br />(c) Service Point_ Sewage shall be delivered to <br />the service point selected by the City at the elevation <br />selected by the City_ <br />§2- 15.20.04_ MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY_ The City <br />shall maintain all Trunk Sewers_ Maintenance of Side Sewers <br />and Service Laterals shall be the responsibility of the <br />property owner served by such Sewers_ Any private sewer <br />system, including private Trunk Sewers, shall be maintained <br />by the owner of the private system_ <br />ARTICLE 4 <br />CONNECTIONS TO THE SEWERAGE SYSTEM <br />§2- 15.30.01_ PERMIT REQUIRED_ Application for <br />permission to discharge Sewage into the Sewerage System <br />shall be made to the City on an application form as <br />prescribed by the Director and containing such information <br />as may be required to determine the Capacity required and <br />the need for any Wastewater Discharge Permit or other <br />special permit_ No discharge to the Sewerage System shall <br />be allowed until a connection permit has been issued <br />authorizing a permitted amount o£ Sewage Flow in accordance <br />with the Capacity allocated in the connection permit_ <br />(a) Adequate Sewerage System Capacity Required_ <br />A connection permit shall be issued only if collection lines <br />exist sufficient and adequate to transport the new User's <br />Sewage Flow to the Treatment Plant and if (1) the User has <br />secured Capacity for that Flow through prior purchase o£ a <br />connection permit or through some reservation agreement, or <br />(ii) Uncommitted Capacity exists at the Treatment Plant and <br />sewage export facilities for that Flow_ <br />13_ CityDra£t <br />
