FOR THE RE- ROOFING OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON SENIOR CENTER, CIP NO. 097027 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Construction of the Pleasanton Senior Center Re- Roofing Project is complete and ready <br /> for acceptance. The project consisted of the removal and replacement of the existing <br /> roof on the Pleasanton Senior Center. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $25,024.40 to California <br /> Roofing Company, Inc., thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize the transfer of the project balance of $32,508.17 to the Facilities <br /> Renovation Fund budget balance. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Support Services has incurred considerable maintenance costs making repairs resulting <br /> from roof leaks. The completed project will address the maintenance demands related <br /> to water leaks which will result in reduced on -going maintenance costs. <br />
