Exhibit B <br />Conditions of Approval <br />PAP-40, Philip Ciesielski <br />4160 Stanley Boulevard <br />November 19, 2002 <br /> <br />The flagpole and photocell light shall be constructed and maintained substantially as <br />shown on the plans Exhibit A, dated "Received August 30, 2002," on file with the <br />Planning Depaxhuent, except as modified by these conditions. Minor changes to the <br />project may be allowed subject to prior approval by the Planning Director, if found to be <br />in substantial conformance with the approved exhibits. <br /> <br />Ali conditions of approval for this case shall be written by the project applicant on <br />all building permit plan check sets submitted for review and approval. These <br />conditions of approval shall be on, at all times, all construction plans kept on the project <br />site. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the project contractor is aware <br />of, and abides by, all conditions of approval. <br /> <br />The flagpole shall be white or silver metal. The eagle shall be gold, bronze, silver, or a <br />similar color. Prior to the issuance ora building permit, the applicant shall write the color <br />of the flagpole and eagle on the plans. All colors are subject to the review and approval of <br />the Planning Director, prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />The flagpole shall be a maximum of 30 feet in height, not including the eagle, as measured <br />from grade to the top of the flagpole. The diameter of the flagpole shall not exceed six <br />inches. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall write the height and <br />diameter of the flagpole on the plans. <br /> <br />Only a national and/or a state flag shall be flown on the flagpole. If the applicant wishes <br />to fly another flag on the flagpole, the applicant shall receive prior approval to fly this <br />other flag from the Planning Director. <br /> <br />The flagpole hoist shall be nylon. If metal is anywhere on a flag to be flown, prior to <br />flying the flag, the applicant shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Planning Director <br />that the metal on the flagpole and/or flag shall be insulated such that the metal will not <br />make noise when the wind blows the flag against the flagpole. <br /> <br />The photocell light shall be ground mounted, shall be located approximately two feet <br />away from the base of the flagpole, shall be oriented at all times to only illuminate the <br />flags on the flagpole, and shall only be turned on between 4:30p.m. and 10:00p.m. The <br />location and design of the photocell light is subject to the review and approval of the <br />Planning Director, prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />PAP-40, Conditions of Approval November 19, 2002 Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
