THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> December 1, 2009 <br /> City Attorney's Office <br /> TITLE: ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE AND <br /> REPLACE REFERENCES TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, <br /> PLANNING DIRECTOR, PLANNING DEPARTMENT, BUILDING <br /> DEPARTMENT, DIRECTOR OF BUILDING INSPECTION, AND DIRECTOR <br /> OF ENGINEERING IN ORDER TO COINCIDE WITH ORGANIZATIONAL <br /> CHANGES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This code amendment is intended to clean up all of the references in the municipal code <br /> that refer to classifications or departments that were recently added, renamed, or <br /> deleted. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends introducing the attached ordinance to amend various sections of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code so that the Code matches the organizational structure of the <br /> City. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be no financial impact related to the ordinance amendment. <br />
