i <br />Z <br />W�o <br />The Council ordered the Clerk to write a letter to Engineer Hugh A. Sinclair <br />and extend him their best wishes for a Happy New Year. <br />Herman G. Kolln, local business man, was present at the meeting and was <br />asked by the Mayor to make a few remarks. Mr. Kolln had little to say other <br />than that he thought the railroad corssing at Neal Street should'be given <br />attention. <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:15 o'clock to <br />meet in special session, Monday evening, January 8, 1934 at the usual hour. ° <br />Approved: <br />�� , <br />i .• <br />0 <br />Pleasanton, California, January '8, 1934. <br />The Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton was called to order at 8 o'clock <br />on the above written date, with Mayor A.B.Picke,rd presiding. Present at roll <br />call were Councilmen Orloff, Garatti and Pickard, and absent Councilmen Madsen <br />and Apperso n. <br />Mr. Herold representing the Southern Pacific Company was present to <br />discuss crossing conditions with the Council. After some discussion Mr. Herold <br />promised to go over the crossings and to personally look into the matter and <br />make a report to Councilman Garatti. The Council expressed itself as being <br />willing to close the street in the vicinity of the crossing and to cooperate <br />in any way necessary to assist in successfully fixing'the crossing. The matter <br />of the culvert in the vicinity of the crossing was also discussed with Mr. <br />Herold,. but he was unable to express himself as to whether or not the company <br />would be willing to do anything at this time. <br />The Clerk presented an application for an "On Sale" and "Off Sale" license <br />of Chris Petersen forwarded by the State Board of Equalization. The council <br />had no® objection to the Board issuing the license. On motion of'Councilman <br />Orloff seconded by Councilman Garatti and with all present voting in favor <br />of same the Clerk-was instructed to write to the State Board of Equalization <br />to that affect. <br />There being no further. business before the Council, the meeting adjourned <br />at 8:30 o'clock to meet in regular session on Monday evening, February 5th, <br />at the usual hour. <br />Approved: Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Pleasanton, California, February 5, 1984. <br />The Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton was called to order at 7:30 <br />P.
