56 <br />Pleasanton, California <br />August 4,1947 <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Pleasan <br />ton was called to order by Mayor Trimingham at 8 :00 P.M. on the <br />above date. Roll call showed present - Councilmen Hansen and Trim - <br />ingham; absent - Councilmen Brenner, Oxsen and Mezza. A quorum not <br />being present, the meeting was adjourned to meet agin in regular <br />session at 8:15 P.M. on August 11,1947. <br />6-7, <br />yor <br />Clerk <br />Pleasanton, California <br />August 11, 1947 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF ME TOWN OF PLEASANTON SITTING <br />AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 169 OF THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON. <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met as a Board of Equalization <br />at 8:00 P.M. on August 11, 1947. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Earl Trimingham. Roll call <br />showed present: Councilmen Oxsen, Hansen and Trimingham; absent: <br />Councilmen Brenner and Mezza. <br />The Mayor declared a quorum to be present and announced that the Council <br />was meeting as a Board of Equalization to equalize the tax assessment <br />roll for the fiscal year 1947 -48. <br />Mayor Trimingham was elected Chairman of the Board. of Equalization on <br />motion of Councilman Hansen, seconded by Councilman Oxsen and approved <br />by all Councilmen present. <br />An affidavit of publication was presented stating that notice of the <br />meeting had been published in the Pleasanton Times issue of August 8, " <br />1947. <br />The assessment roll as prepared by the Clerk and Ex- Officio Assessor <br />was examined by the Board. There were no objections presented at the <br />meeting and no objections had been filed with the Clerk. <br />Councilman Hansen then moved that the roll be adopted as presented as <br />the Assessment Roll of the Town of Pleasanton for the fiscal year <br />1947 -48. The motion was seconded by Councilman Oxsen and adopted by <br />the following vote: Aye: Councilmen Oxsen, Hansen and Trimingham <br />No: None <br />Absent: Councilmen Brenner and Mezza <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />
