42 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1940 authori zing payment of salaries-in the mount <br />of 02,154.50 for the month of March was adopted on motion of Council- <br />man Mezza, seconded by Councilman Brenner and approved by all <br />Councilmen present. <br />THERE being no further business to come before the Council, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 10:20 P.M. to meet again in adjourned <br />regular session at 9:15 P.M. on April 10, 1947. <br />Mayor dO <br />Pleasanton, California <br />/April 10, 1947 <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met in adjourned regular <br />session at 9:15 P.M. on the above date with Mayor Earl Trimingham in <br />the Chair. Roll called showed present: Councilmen Brenner, Oxsen, <br />Hansen and Mezza; absent, none. <br />COUNCILMAN MEZZA reported that investigation had disclosed some 30 <br />feet of broken sewer pipe on Ray Street. He was authorized to pro- <br />ceed with necessary repairs. <br />COUNCILMAN OXSEN reported that Joe Rose had been employed as utility <br />man on the Street Dept., and that Joe Medeiros was acting as Superin- <br />tendent. <br />ON MOTION of Councilman Oxsen, seconded by Councilman Mezza and ap- <br />proved by all Councilmen, Joe Medeiros was appointmed Supt. of Streets <br />at a monthly salary of 0225.00 effective April 1, 1947. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1942, endorsing a program for year round recreational <br />use of the County Fair Grounds, was adopted on motion of Councilman <br />Brenner, seconded by Councilman Hansen and approved by all Councilmen. <br />Payment of expenses to circulate copies of this resolution in an amount <br />not to exceed 025.00 was authorized by motion of Councilman Hansen, <br />seconded by-Councilman Mezza and approved by all Councilmen. <br />THE request of the Fire Dept. that the Town pay for certain clothing <br />purchased by the Fire Dept. was referred to Councilman Hansen for dis- <br />cussion with the Fire Chief. <br />COUNCILMAN BRENNER was granted permission to leave the State. <br />THERE being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 9:45 P.M. to meet again in regular session at 8 :00 <br />P.M. on May 5, 1947. <br />. fxA_,HyL.-A6/ <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />
