1:4 <br />Pleasanton, California <br />August 12, 1946 <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF 'i7iE TOWN OF PLEASANTON SITTING <br />AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 169 OF THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON. <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met as a Board of Equalization <br />at 8 :00 P.M. on August 12, 1946. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Earl Trimingham. Roll call <br />showed present: Councilmen Brenner, Oxsen, and Hansen. Absent: <br />Councilman Mezza. <br />The Mayor declared a quorum to be present and announced that the <br />Council was meeting as a Board of Equalization to equalipe the tax <br />assessment roll for the fiscal year 1946 -47. <br />Mayor Trimingham was elected Chairman of the Board of Equalization on <br />motion of councilman Oxsen, seconded by Councilman Hansen and approved <br />by all Councilmen present. Chairman Trimingham appointed Town Clerk - <br />Matt Jorgensen as Clerk of the Board. <br />An affidavit of publication was presented stating that notice of the <br />meeting had been published in the Pleasanton Times on August 2, 1946. <br />The assessment roll as prepared by the Clerk and Ex- Officio Assessor <br />was examined by the Board. There were no objections filed with the <br />Clerk and no ob.jections::were presented at the meeting. <br />Councilman Brenner then moved that the roll be adopted as presented <br />as the Assessment Roll of the Town of rleasanton for the fiscal year <br />1946 -47. The motion was seconded by councilman Hansen. The motion <br />was adopted by the following vote: Aye: Councilmen Brenner, Oxsen, <br />Hansen and Trimingham.
