62 <br />CHIEF OF POLICE Delucchi reported that Officer Donovan was back on the job follow- <br />ing an emergency leave. <br />MR. HARDING addressed the Council and said; "While it is not possible for me to attend <br />many of your meetings, I would like to Thank the Council for your work deligence <br />regarding the many problems that come before you. There are those of us who appreciate <br />the time work that you the members of the Council put forth I want to, at this <br />time, personally, Thank You" <br />MAYOR OXSEN thanked Mr. Harding in behalf of the Council for his kind words. <br />THE DEED for Kottinger Avenue, is to be turned over to Mr. Goodridge for his o.k•. since <br />being re- written by the Oakland Title Company. <br />THE CLERK requested vacation for Mrs. Keefe between Aug. 13th 27th and another <br />week around Xmas. which was granted.' <br />ENGINEER George Sobiela was given authorized to build a fence around the picnic <br />area at McKinley Park. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2168 authorizing the City Clerk to prepare the Annual Street Report <br />for the Division of Highways. Adopted on motion of Councilman hansen, seconded by <br />Councilman Abrott and approved by all Councilman present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2169 Authorizing directing City Treasurer to transfer Maintenance <br />Gas Tax money from the Spedial gas Tax fund into the General Fund Total 2,528.00 <br />for the 50/51 fiscal year. <br />Adopted on motion of Councilman Hansen, seconded by Councilman Trimingham and approv- <br />ed by all Councilmen present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2170 declaring Kottinger Avenue a part of the Town's major City St's <br />and asking Division of Highways approval. <br />Adopted on motion of Councilman Trimingham, seconded by Councilman Abrott, and approv- <br />ed by all Councilmen present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2171 <br />$3,044.50. <br />Adopted on motion of <br />ed -by all Councilmen <br />Authorizing payment of payroll for the month of Jund totaling <br />Councilman Abrott, seconded by Councilman Trimingham and approv- <br />present. <br />THE CLERK quoted prices from Tree Surgeons Gilroy, Calif. $296.00 to cut down <br />haul away the 3 Gum trees at Mrs. Copes place on Main St., <br />Council requested a letter from the Company stating prices etc. authorized the <br />Clerk to give O.K. on the work, if the Town's Insurance was effective on such work. <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 11 :35 P.M. to meet again on July 9th at 8 :00 P.M. <br />AMEr <br />
