SEORGE SOBIELA was requested by -the Council, to have a duplicate set of keys <br />made that could be kept at the City Hall. <br />MR. SOBIELA was given O.K. to try second hand pump, per his suggestion. <br />COUNCILMAN ABROTT reported that Engineer Ramseier is to make drawings for cor- <br />rections to panel board at Sewage Treatment Plant. <br />MAYOR OXSEN: stated;- whereas the Council agreed not to waive permit fee <br />at the Grammar School that in the future when a fee is collected, and no <br />work-is required of the Town's Inspector; The money thus collected, would be <br />turned over to the City Treasurer and deposited in the General Fund. <br />The Mayor said he had discussed this with the Inspector, and it was agreeable <br />with him. Whereupon the Council agreed to the amendment. <br />THE COUNCIL discussed the sidewalk slope in front of the new Hagstrom store <br />and parking lot and decided to ask the contractor when replacing same to make <br />it a• gradual slope from Wasson's to the Taxi Lund. <br />GEORGE SOBIELA requested "NO HUNTING" and "NO SMOKING" to post at the Sewage <br />Treatment Plant in order to comply with thelaw. <br />THE CIVIL DEFENSE coordinator has requested badges•for Auxilary Police and wants <br />CQ regular Police Dept. badges; The Council however agreed to wait until the next <br />C5J meeting, as the County Defense Council may have definate information on this <br />‹e„, matter. <br />.ttC RESOLUTION NO. 2134 That the H. M. Lawrence Co. had complied with bid contract <br />and to accept and allow the Mayor to enter into contract. Adopted on motion <br />of Councilman Hansen seconded by Councilman Trimingham and approved by all <br />Councilman present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2137 Authorizing payment totaling $1,741,5? for Ford Tractor. <br />Adopted on motion of Councilman Hansen seconded by Councilman Trimingham and <br />approved by all Councilmen present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2135 "Payroll" Adopted on motion of Councilman Trimingham, sec- <br />onded by Councilman Hansen and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10 :35 P.M. to meet again in regular session February 5, 1951 at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Pleasanton, California <br />February 5, 1951 <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met in regular session at 7 :30 P.M. on <br />the atiove'date with Mayor Oxsen in the chair. Roll call showed: Councilmen Hansen, <br />Trimingham and Abrott present. <br />Absent Councilman Hewitson, due to illness <br />MINUTES: Of January 2nd meeting were read and corrected by Mayor Oxsen to read: <br />Chief,of Police John J. Delucchi was requested to call in all badges that might <br />be out, to have on hand for Auxiliary Police. <br />CLAIMS NO: 200 235 incl. amounting to $2,680.10 were presented and referred to <br />the Finance Committees <br />31 <br />
