AVILLA, asked the Council about curbs at his residence and property on Vine- <br />yard Ave. <br />Following discussion Councilman Abrott was requested by the Council to obtain <br />an Engineer to do this, and possibly future- engineering for the City. <br />MR. AVILLA, also requested that something be donecabout the dogs roaming the <br />neighborhood, and that most of them were from Kottinger Village. <br />MR. MADERIOS requested, the Council to ask the W.P.R.R. about putting in curbs <br />and drainage on their lot on Harrison Angela Streets. <br />STREETS BUILDINGS: Councilman Hansen reported that the. Council made a survey <br />of streets and several were sorely in need of repairs. And that lines will be <br />replaced on Angela St. McKinley Park was re- graveled with 5 1/2 tons of gravel. <br />COUNCILMAN HANSEN also. reported that members of the Council would meet with <br />representatives of the P.G. &E. on the tree situation on Monday Jan 8th. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY HALL: Councilman Trimingham reported that the siren <br />switches were installed by Pleasanton Electric and will be tried Monday Jan. <br />8th at 11:00 A.M. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM recommended that the change over of the furnance in <br />the City Hall be made from oit to gas. And that he will meet with the heat- <br />ing engineer Monday January 8th.. There being no objections to changing from <br />oil to gas, Councilman Trimingham will make the necessary arrangements. <br />PUBILC UTILITIES: Councilman Abrott reported that Engineer Ramskeier bad pre- <br />pared the bids, notices specifications for the pipe crossing under the S.P.R.R. <br />at the Sewage Treatment Plant and instructed the Clerk to have notice to Bidders <br />put in the Pleasanton Times. <br />The Council agreed to waive the $5.00 deposit, as called for in the notice to <br />bidders, for specifications: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2136 -_Bids for pipe crossing under S.P.R.R. presented by Council- <br />man Abrott. Moved by Councilman Abrott, seconded by Councilman Trimingham and <br />approved by all Councilman present to dispense with reading of Resolution No. <br />2136. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2136 Calling for bids specifications of pipe crossing under <br />S.P.R.R. at•Sewage Treatment Plant was adopted on motion of Councilman Abrott <br />seconded by Councilman Trimingham and approved by all Councilman present. <br />
