The Clerk also reported the following receipts from the Town Treasurer had been filed in his office: From Antone Petersen, in the sum of $1.90; from Bank of Pleasanton, in the sum of $33.35 for interest; from the Town Clerk, in the sikm of $5.00 for dance fees; from the County of Alameda in the sum of X103.80; for water; from H. A. Sinclair, in the sure of $3.00 for delinquent water; from F. C. Nevis in the sum of $569.10 for water collections; from F. C. Nevis, in the stun of 0164.00 for licenses collected. The board then took a recess while the finance and supply committee examined the claims and officers' monthly reports. The Board again being called to order, Chairman Pickard of the Supply and,Finance committee reported tht the committee had examined and approved Claims Nos. 116 to 136 inclusive, amounting to'$1027.64, and moved that warrants be drawn on the town treasurer in favor of the respective claimants. The motion was seconded by Trustee Bairos, and carrded by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Pickard, Bairos, Garatti, Bruce and Schween. Noes: None. Absent: None. The Finance committee also reported as having examined and approved the offivers8 monthly report amd they were ordered placed on file. The following resolution was tell read: Resolution No. 954. Be It' by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that the Town Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw warrants on the Town Treasurer in favor of the 'persons named below for the amounts respectively set opposite their names: C. Noes; None. Absent: None. The application of Gus Schneider and Jack Gardella for permission to hold a dance in the I. D. E. S. Hall on St. Marys street on the night of January 19th, was ,_granted v 559
