M. by president Schween, pursuant to a <br />motion of adjournment passed on the night of December 10th. <br />Trustees Pickard, Garatti, BruceT Bairos and Schween were present at roll call. <br />The application presented at a recent meeting by property owners on Neal street <br />asking for street improvements, was read and discussed. The matter was laid over until <br />a future meeting. <br />The board then adjourned until Monday, December 10th, 1923, at the hours of 7;30 P.M. <br />The Board was called to order at 7;30 p. m., pursuant to the motion of. adjournment <br />taken on December 18th, 1923. ,by President Schween. <br />The roll call showed Trustees Pickard, Baiors, Garatti, Bruce and Schween to be <br />present. <br />Attorney Charles A. Gale addressed the Board relative to improvements on Neal <br />street asked for by property owners on that thoroughfare. After considerable dis- <br />cussion the matter was laid over until some future date. <br />Dtscussio:n was held concerning the possibility of having to renew water taps <br />on Main street, and the matter was referred to the street and building committee. <br />The board then adlourned anti; December 27, 1923, at 7:30 p. m. <br />to be held January 7, 192614 <br />Pleasanton, California, December 17, 1923, 7;30 P. The railroad also said they would reduve the speed <br />of their trains to 30 miles per howl. The communication was ordered placed on file. <br />Attorney Charles A. Gale submitteda plan for forming districts for the payment of <br />street work at Main street intersections. Hds plan included the forming of two dis- <br />tricts, one to extend 100 feet back from Main street, and to be known as District No. 1. <br />The property in this district to be assessed 50 per cent of the cost of the intersections. <br />Distrcit No. 2 consist of all property 200 feet back from and parallel. to Dis- <br />trict Bo. 2. The property in district No. 2 to be assessed the other 50 p cenyt of <br />the cost of intersections. <br />Mr. Gales plan for the districts was referred to George Posey, city surveyor in <br />charge of street improvement work. <br />There being no further business the bard adjourned to the next: regular meeting <br />President of the Board o ustees. <br />To n Clerk <br />
