602 <br />President Bruce then declared a recess in order to permit the Finance and supply <br />committee examine ti claims and the offivers' monthly resorts: <br />Finance Committee Reports <br />After the Board wad again called to order Trustee Rickard, chairman of the Finance <br />committee reported favorably on Claims numbered from 57 to 81 inclusive, amounting tom <br />$1785.24, amd moved that warrants be drawn on the town treasurer in favor of the res- <br />pective claimants. The motion was seconded by Trustee Bairos, and carried by the fol- <br />lowing Vote: <br />Ayes: Trustees Pickard, docod6 is Bairos, O.ndoff and Bruce. <br />Noes; None <br />Absent; Trustee Garatti. <br />The finance further reported as having examined and approved the offiers' monthly <br />reports, and they were ordered placed on file. <br />The clerk then read <br />The clerk then read <br />The clerk then read <br />Resolution No. 989 <br />Payroll for the Month of September, 1924. <br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that the Town clerk <br />be and he is herby authorized and instructed to draw warrants on the Ton treasurer in favor <br />of the persons named below for the amounts respectively set opposite their names. <br />Letham, town clerk 4 75.00 <br />E. L. Benedict, Town treasurer 10.00 <br />Frank C. Nevis, Marsha, supt streets, ect 125.00 <br />A. Petersen, nightwatchman and gardener 110.00 <br />W. H. Graham, care fire apparatus 10.00 <br />Hugh Sinclair, town engineer and sanitary inspector 125.00 <br />Dr. J. Hal Cope, health officer 10.00 <br />W. T. Davis, recorder 10.00 <br />Mary Viada, janitor ton hall 15.00 <br />C. A. Gale, town attorney 25.00 $515.00 <br />The above resolution adapted his 6th dau of October, 1924, on motion of Trustee <br />Bairos, seconded by'Trustee Pickard and the following vote: <br />Ayes; Trustees Packard, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce. <br />Noes; None. <br />Absent: Trustee Garatti. <br />Resolution No. 990 <br />Whereas, the California State. Automobile Association having placed within the Town <br />of Pleasanton the following signs as instructed: <br />Five city limit signs, 3 2o-mile speed limit signs and 2 15 -mile speed limit signs; <br />making a total of ten'signs at 04.00 each, therefore <br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton;; that the clerk <br />be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the Town treasurer <br />in favor of the California. State Automobile association for the sum of forty dollars, <br />in payment of ten signs. <br />The adoption of thisnresolution was moved by Trustee Bairos, seconded by Trustee <br />Pickard and carried bybthe following vote: <br />Ayes <br />Trustees Pickard,.Bairos,, Orloff and Bruce. <br />Noes; None <br />Absent: Trustee Garatti. <br />Resolution No. 991 <br />Whereas, the Neptune Meter company having delivered to the Tovm of Pleasanton, meter <br />gears and regisyers amounting to 475.18, <br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton, that the clerk be <br />and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the Town Tresurer in <br />favor of Neptune Meter Company for seventy five and 18/100 dollars in payment of meter <br />parts. <br />m The adiption of this resolution was moved by Trustee Bairos, seconded by Trsutee <br />Orloff and carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes; Trustee Pickard, Bairos, Orlodd and Bruce. <br />•.ices e 1V JY].� <br />Absent.
