The following resolution was read and introduced by Trustee Pcikard, Whereas; Section 6 off Ordinance No. 5 of the Town of Pleasanton, in accordance with the provisions of the state law; require that the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton-meet on the foutth Monday of September of each year, and at that time fix the rate of town taxes designating the number of cents'on each one hundred dollars of property levied for each fund; and must then levy the town taxes upon the taxabe property in the town,.now therefore Be It Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the•Tow n of Pleasanton, in session on'the date above e mentioned do hereby fix and declare the rate of taxes for the various funds of the Town of Pleasanton, as follows: The sum of 90 cents to be levied against all taxable propertu in the Town of Pleasanton, to be placid in the general fund. The sum of 16 cents of each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of all taxable property in the Town of Pleasanton, to be placed in the water bond fund. The sum of 14 cents of each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of all taxable property in the ,Town of Pleasanton..to.be placed in the Town Hall Bond Fund. The sum of 40 cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of all taxable property in the Town of Pleasanton to be placed. in the iiu•icipal improvement Bond fund; Making a total tax rate for the Town of Bleasanton of 1.60;on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation. And be'it further resovled that the town tax collector be and he is hereby au- thorized and instructed to collect taxes for the Town of Peasanton at the rates set forth herein, and in the manner required by law. The adoption of the foregoing resolution was moved by Trustee Pickard, seconded by Trustee Orloff and carlfiied by the .following vote: Ayes: Tustees Pcikard, Garatti, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce Noes None Absent;; None. There being no further businesn to come before the Board the meeting adjourned until i,ionday, October 6th at 7;3o o'clock, p. m Approved: President of the Board of Ton The Board of Trustees, sitting as a board of Equalixtion met at the hour of 7;30 pp m. on September 10th, took a recess until September.11th, adjourned at 8;30 p. m. until the following night and met again this date at the hour. of 7:30 p. m. During the three nights the board went over the assessors's books with that offi- cial end discussed various assessments. No changes were made, in the assessment roll as submitted by the assessor.
