The :Board then took a recess, during which the Finance and Supp131 Committee ex- amined Vile° claims presented'•against the town and the officers8' monthly reports. When the Board was again called to order Trustee Pickard as chairman of the finance committee reported as having examined and approved claims numbered from 06 to. lo9 inclusive, amoulting to $381.44, and moved that warrants be drawn on.the treasurer in favor of the respective claimants of the amount of their claisms.. The motion was seconded by Trustee Bairos, and carried by the following vote: Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bruce, Bairos and Schween. Noes- -None. Absent- -None. The .finance committee also reported having examined and, approved the officers' monthly reports and they were ordered placed on file. .Charles S. Graham addressed the boardc;and asked permission to remove a tree in front of his property. The application was referred to the street and building committee. Harry Williams, city amditor of Oakland, represent- ing the Citizens' Pageant Committee, asking the board to put a float in the parade to be held in Oakland New Years' Eve, The following Resolution was read. Resolution No. 950. Be it Resolved by the Board of trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that the Town Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw warrants on the Town Treasurer in favor of the persons named below for the amounts respectively set opposite their names: E. Resolution No. 951 Whereas, the 19th installment of interest .on the Town Hall Bond being now due, row, therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton, that the clerk be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the Town Treasurer in favor of E. L. Benedict for the sum of $137.50 in payment of the nineteenth installment of interest on Town Hall Bond. The adoption of this resolution was moved by Trustee Pickard and seconded by Trustee Bairos and carried by the following vote; Ayes; Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bruce, Bairos and Schween. Noes; None.
