The :Board then took a recess, during which the Finance and Supp131 Committee ex- <br />amined Vile° claims presented'•against the town and the officers8' monthly reports. <br />When the Board was again called to order Trustee Pickard as chairman of the finance <br />committee reported as having examined and approved claims numbered from 06 to. lo9 <br />inclusive, amoulting to $381.44, and moved that warrants be drawn on.the treasurer in <br />favor of the respective claimants of the amount of their claisms.. The motion was seconded <br />by Trustee Bairos, and carried by the following vote: <br />Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bruce, Bairos and Schween. <br />Noes- -None. <br />Absent- -None. <br />The .finance committee also reported having examined and, approved the officers' <br />monthly reports and they were ordered placed on file. <br />.Charles S. Graham addressed the boardc;and asked permission to remove a tree in <br />front of his property. The application was referred to the street and building committee. <br />Harry Williams, city amditor of Oakland, represent- <br />ing the Citizens' Pageant Committee, asking the board to put a float in the parade to <br />be held in Oakland New Years' Eve, <br />The following Resolution was read. <br />Resolution No. 950. <br />Be it Resolved by the Board of trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that the Town <br />Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw warrants on the Town <br />Treasurer in favor of the persons named below for the amounts respectively set opposite <br />their names: <br />E. Letham. Town Clerk 4 75.00 <br />E. L. Benedict, Town Treasurer 10.00 <br />Frank C. Nevis, Supt. streets, water Collector. i�N 5.00 <br />A. Petersen, nightwatchman and gardener 110.00 <br />W. H. Graham, care fire apparatus <br />Huh Sinclair, sanitary inspector and engineer l 25.00 <br />li <br />Dr. J. Hal Cope,'health officer t. 10.00 <br />W. T. Davis, recorder 10.00 <br />Mary J. Viada, jatuktor Town hall 10.00 <br />C. A. Gale, Attorney 25.00 <br />410.00 <br />The above resolution was adopted this 3rd day of December, 1923, on motion of <br />Trustee Pickard, seconded by Trustee GaratTi and the following vote: <br />Ayes: Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bruce, and Schween. <br />Noes; None <br />Absent: None. <br />C. Letham, Town Clerk. <br />Resolution No. 951 <br />Whereas, the 19th installment of interest .on the Town Hall Bond being now due, <br />row, therefore, <br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton, that the clerk be <br />and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the Town Treasurer in <br />favor of E. L. Benedict for the sum of $137.50 in payment of the nineteenth installment <br />of interest on Town Hall Bond. <br />The adoption of this resolution was moved by Trustee Pickard and seconded by Trustee <br />Bairos and carried by the following vote; <br />Ayes; Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bruce, Bairos and Schween. <br />Noes; None. <br />Absent; None. <br />Dated, Dec. 3, 1923 C.
