EXHIBIT A <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT <br /> FOR STANLEY BLVD. RULE 20B <br /> This proposal is for Bellecci Associates "CONSULTANT") to provide civil engineering <br /> services for the City of Pleasanton "CITY") for the Design of the Underground Utility <br /> District on Old Stanley Boulevard. The scope of work is described in more detail below: <br /> 1 Kick -off Meetings <br /> 1.1 Meeting with Utility Companies "CONSULTANT" shall meet with <br /> PG &E, Comcast and AT &T to discuss design requirements for service <br /> connections which address Building Code requirements, known property <br /> owner criteria, as well as the utility company needs. <br /> 1.2 PG &E Design Coordination PG &E will be responsible for the Electrical <br /> Engineering for the project. PG &E will be providing the conduit sizing and <br /> trench configuration for the Joint Trench. "CONSULTANT" will incorporate <br /> the PG &E Joint Trench to prepare the City Composite Plans, which will be <br /> bid by the City. The City Composite Plans prepared by "CONSULTANT" <br /> will include empty conduits, empty boxes, and service connection conduits <br /> in conformance with the requested sizing from PG &E electrical design. <br /> "CONSULTANT" will establish regular meetings with PG &E at City <br /> Offices or at PG &E Offices in Livermore. "CONSULTANT" will also <br /> contact and /or visit the PG &E Design Office in Concord to help <br /> accelerate the PG &E design. <br /> "CONSULTANT" will walk the site with PG &E to gain PG &E consensus <br /> on the preferred design for private property service connections. <br /> "CONSULTANT" will submit updated alignment exhibits to PG &E <br /> contact person to aid in the coordination of the City/PG &E work. <br /> In order to meet the project schedule, "CONSULTANT" will start design <br /> work promptly upon receiving electrical engineering design from <br /> PG &E. <br /> "CONSULTANT" electrical engineer will review the PG &E design to <br /> confirm the conduits and vaults are not oversized <br /> "CONSULTANT" will provide initial design layout of the joint trench <br /> alignment to PG &E. <br /> 1.3 Kick -Off Meeting with City Staff "CONSULTANT" shall meet with the <br /> City Staff to review the schedule and scope of work. At the initial meeting <br /> "CONSULTANT" will be prepared to present various joint trench <br /> alignments and sequencing options for the overhead conversions. Also <br /> discussed will be the overall plan for the future roadway project, and the <br /> impacts of the joint trench facilities. <br /> 1.4 Meeting with Building Department "CONSULTANT" shall meet with <br /> the Building Department to develop project design criteria that meets the <br /> City Building Code requirements. <br /> BELLECCI ASSOCIATES, INC JULY 10, 2009 <br />
