CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1248 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON STATION <br /> ASSOCIATES FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO PUD-81-28 <br /> (PUD-81-28-3M) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 8, 1981, Council adopted <br /> Ordinance No. 1007 approving an approximately 70,000 sq. <br /> ft. commercial/office development to be located between <br /> First Street and the Southern Pacific railroad tracks <br /> from Angela Street to Bernal Avenue extension and on the <br /> Southern Pacific depot property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Station Associations has applied for a major <br /> modification to the 6,270 sq. ft. restaurant located at <br /> the southwest corner of West Neal Street and Railroad <br /> Avenue and is proposing a freestanding sign; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 12, 1986, the Planning <br /> Commission recommended approval of the proposed <br /> modifications subject to various conditions; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Pleasanton Station <br /> Associates for a major modification to the approved <br /> planned unit development plan for a 6,270 sq. ft. <br /> restaurant located at the southwest corner of West Neal <br /> Street and Railroad Avenue (the old Southern Pacific <br /> depot) subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br /> the revised elevations and site plan, Exhibit B, on <br /> file with the Planning Department except: <br /> <br /> a. That all the window shutters be removed. <br /> <br /> b. That the area shown containing 14 parking <br /> spaces at the northwest corner of the parking <br /> lo~ shall be reserved ~or ~he exclusive use o£ <br /> the adjoining property containing the law <br /> offices (62 West Neal Street) and 5 additional <br /> spaces shall be for the non-exclusive use of <br /> the property occupied by Hap's Restaurant (122 <br /> Neal Street). These 19 spaces are reserved in <br /> accordance with Condition No. 3 of PUD-81-28. <br /> <br /> c. That the building be located 5 ft. from the <br /> eastern property line to meet the requirements <br /> of the Uniform Building Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
