The <br /> facts and findings supporting these findings are <br /> summarized in the Environmental Impact Findings, Exhibit <br /> "A", which can be reviewed at the Planning Department, <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California and as are <br /> more fully found in the administrative record of this <br /> project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council finds that although not all <br /> significant environmental effects have been reduced to a <br /> level of insignificance, the remaining, unavoidable <br /> significant environmental effects are acceptable because <br /> the project's economic, social, environmental, and other <br /> benefits outweigh any impacts which may occur; said <br /> benefits are summarized in the Environmental Impact <br /> Findings, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and as are more <br /> fully found in the administrative record of this <br /> project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council further finds that this project <br /> conforms to the requirements and purposes of the City's <br /> PUD ordinance, is in the best interests of the public <br /> health, safety, and general welfare, and is consistent <br /> with the goals and policies of the Pleasanton General <br /> Plan; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Finds the recitals herein contained are true and <br /> correct. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company of America for rezoning of an approximately 260 <br /> acre site located generally in the area bounded by <br /> Interstate 580 on the north, Tassajara Creek on the <br /> east, the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific <br /> Transportation Company and Hacienda Business Park on the <br /> south, and Chabot Drive on the west from "I-G (General <br /> Industrial)" to "PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices" <br /> District. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning di~trict~ is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #327, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "B" dated March 4, 1986, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br />Section 4: Approves the development plan for a business park <br /> complex on an approximately 260 acre site described <br /> above, subject to the conditions in Exhibit "C" attached <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
