Where the entrance has a personnel door(s), <br />the door(s) shall open in the direction of egress and <br />be equipped with panic bars, pressure plates or other <br />devices that are normally latched but open under <br />simple pressure. <br /> <br />Exception No.l: Where the location permits a <br />continuous and unobstructed way of exit travel, one <br />means of access shall be permitted. <br /> <br />Exception No. 2: Where the work space required by <br />Section 110-26 (a) is doubled, only one entrance to the <br />working space is required. It shall be located so the <br />edge of the entrance nearest the equipment is the <br />minimum clear distance given in Table 110-26 (a) away <br />from such equipment. <br /> <br />20.20.024 Article 210-12 (b) Amended - Dwelling Unit Bedrooms. <br /> <br />Article 210-12 (b) of the California Building Standards Code 2001 <br /> Edition (24 C.C.R.), and including by reference the <br /> National Electrical Code, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(b) Dwelling Unit Bedrooms. All branch circuits <br />that supply 125-volt, single-phase, 15 and 20- <br />ampere outlets installed in dwelling unit <br />bedrooms shall be protected by an arc-fault <br />circuit interrupter listed to provide protection of <br />the entire branch circuit. <br /> <br />20.20.025 Article 336-4 Amended - Uses Permitted. <br /> <br />Article 336-4 of the California Building Standards Code 2001 <br /> Edition (24 C.C.R.), and including by reference the <br /> National Electrical Code, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 336-4 Uses Permitted <br /> <br />Type NM, Type NMC, and Type NMS cables shall be <br />permitted to be used in the following: <br /> <br />(1) One- and Two-Family dwellings. <br /> <br />58 <br /> <br /> <br />
