Section 111.2 of the Califomia Building Standards Code 2001 Edition, (24 <br /> C.C.R.), and including by reference the Uniform Mechanical <br /> Code, 2000 Edition is amended as follows: <br /> <br />111.2 Penalties. Penalties for violations will be as <br />provided in Section 1.12.020 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code. <br /> <br />Section 20.16.030 Section 108.1 Amended - General <br /> <br />Section 108.1 of the Califomia Building Standards Code 2001 Edition, (24 <br /> C.C.R.), and including by reference the Uniform Mechanical <br /> Code, 2000 Edition is amended as follows: <br /> <br />108.1 General. This Chapter and the adopted Uniform <br />Mechanical Code shall be enforced by the Chief Building <br />Official of the City acting either directly or through <br />properly authorized agents acting within the scope of the <br />particular duties delegated to them by the Chief Building <br />Official; for such purpose the Chief Building Official or his <br />agent shall have the power of a police officer. <br /> <br />The Chief Building Official shall have the power to render <br />interpretations of this code and to adopt and enforce rules <br />and regulations supplemental to this code as may be <br />deemed necessary in order to clarify the application of the <br />provisions of this code. Such interpretations, rules and <br />regulations shall be in conformity with the intent and <br />purpose of this code. <br /> <br />The language used in this Code is intended to convey the <br />common and accepted meaning familiar to the heating, <br />venting and comfort cooling industry to determine the <br />intent and meaning of any provision of this Chapter. Such <br />determinations shall be made, in writing, and a record shall <br />be kept in the office of the Department of Public Works, <br />which record shall be available to interested parties. <br /> <br />(Section 20.16.040, Deleted) <br /> <br />Section 20.16.050 Variances: <br /> <br />53 <br /> <br /> <br />
