building ornamentation as otherwise allowed under this Article <br />and of projections permitted by the Board under this Section, no <br />part of any structure may project onto or overhang the public <br />right-of-way. <br /> <br /> Sec. 2-2.3424 - PROHIBITIONS; VOID PERMITS <br /> <br /> No building permit, license, certificate or other approval or <br />entitlement shall be issued or given by the City or any <br />department or employee thereof with respect to any matter subject <br />to the provisions of this Article except in strict conformity to <br />the requirements of this Article and none shall be issued or <br />given until the time to appeal has run without appeal. No <br />certificate of use and occupancy or similar approval shall be <br />issued or given for any improvement subject to design review <br />until the Zoning Administrator has certified that the improvement <br />has been completed in accordance with the final architectural <br />plan approved pursuant to this Article. Any permit, license, <br />certificate or other approval or entitlement given in violation <br />of this Article is void. <br /> <br />Section 3: If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this <br /> ordinance hereby adopted be declared for any reason to <br /> be invalid, it is the intent of the Pleasanton City <br /> Council that it would have passed all other portions of <br /> this ordinance independent of the elimination herefrom <br /> of any such section, paragraph sentence or word as may <br /> be declared invalid. <br /> <br />Section 4: Section 1-1.15 (Infractions) of Chapter I (General <br /> Provisions), Title II (Administration), of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended by <br /> adding Title II, Chapter 2, Article 34 to the list of <br /> Code sections punishable as infractions. <br /> <br />Section 5: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 6: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," <br /> <br /> - 23 - <br /> <br /> <br />
