Section 23. Subdivision Provisions. PMC Section 2-2.01 is <br /> amended with the addition of the following language at <br /> its conclusion: <br /> <br /> Section 2-2.01: Purpose. , , ,.. The application of <br /> the provisions of this Chapter shall be deemed <br /> supplemental to the provisions of the Subdivision Map <br /> Act of the State of California (Government Code Sections <br /> 66410,et seq.) and to the extent that said Map Act <br /> pre-empts local ordinances as contained herein the <br /> provisions of State law shall apply. In cases where the <br /> local jurisdiction may adopt more flexible standards and <br /> procedures and less restrictive time limits the <br /> provisions of the local ordinances as contained herein <br /> shall apply. <br /> <br /> PMC Sections 2-4.02 (Hillside and Large Lot <br /> Subdivisions.) and 2-4.37 (Appeal.) are deleted in their <br /> entirety. <br /> <br />Section 24. Parallel Titles of Administrative Entities, <br /> Positions; Editorial Amendments: Wherever in the text <br /> of the Pleasanton Municipal Code a title of any <br /> administrative entity or position has been modified <br /> through action, resolution or ordinance by the City <br /> Council or any of its duly authorized administrative <br /> bodies or agents such entity or position, shall be <br /> retitled in the Code in accordance with current <br /> administrative practice. The effect of this section is <br /> to establish an on-going editorial policy of the City of <br /> Pleasanton and its City Council allowing editorial <br /> modifications to the PMC where title changes to parallel <br /> entities and positions affect the text of this Code. <br /> <br />Section 25. Severability. If any portion, section, subsection, <br /> sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any <br /> reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the <br /> decision of any court of competent jurisdiction such <br /> decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br /> portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the <br /> City of .Pleasanton hereby declares that it would have <br /> passed this ordinance and each portion, section, <br /> subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof <br /> irrespective of the fact that any one or more other <br /> portions, sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or <br /> phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />Section 26. This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley <br /> Herald," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 27. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
