Section 4. Violation of Code: Penalty. PMC Section 1-1.11 is <br /> amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1-1.11: Violation of Code: Penalty. Except as <br /> otherwise provided, any person who violates any of the <br /> provisions of this Code or who fails to comply with any <br /> regulatory requirement or condition resulting from the <br /> application of any such provision shall be guilty of a <br /> misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be subject to a <br /> fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or <br /> by imprisonment in the County jail for a period not to <br /> exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and <br /> imprisonment. <br /> <br />Section 5. Place of City Council Meetings. PMC Section 1-2.01 <br /> is amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1-2.01: Meetings of City Council. The City <br /> Council of the City of Pleasanton shall by resolution <br /> establish the times and dates of its regular meetings. <br /> Except when otherwise designated by the City Council the <br /> place of such regular meetings shall be the Council <br /> Chambers of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 6. Emergency Operations: Punishment of Violations. PMC <br /> Section 1-4.49 is amended by modifying the first <br /> sentence of said section to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1-4.49: Punishment of Violations. It shall be <br /> a violation of the provisions of this Code for any <br /> person, during an emergency, as defined herein to: <br /> <br /> A. ***. <br /> B. ***. <br /> C. ***. <br /> <br />Section 7. Documentary Stamp Tax Exemptions: Public Agencies. <br /> PMC Section 1-6.29 (Code text page 38) is amended in its <br /> entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1-6.29 Exemption: Public Agencies. Any deed, <br /> instrument or writing to which the United States or any <br /> agency or instrumentality thereof, any state or <br /> territory, or political subdivision thereof, is a party <br /> shall be exempt from any tax imposed pursuant to this <br /> Article when the exempt agency is acquiring title. <br /> <br />Section 8. Documentary Stamp Tax Exemptions: Foreclosures and <br /> Transfers Under Judgments of Dissolution of Marriage. <br /> New PMC Sections 1-6.33 and 1-6.34 are added following <br /> Section 1-6.31 (Code text page 39) as follows and the <br /> remaining sections are renumbered accordingly: <br /> <br /> Section 1-6.33: Exemption: Foreclosures. Any tax <br /> imposed pursuant to this Article shall not apply with <br /> respect to any deed, instrument or writing to a <br /> <br /> <br />
