Mr. Fialho acknowledged the error. <br /> Mayor Hosterman thanked the Planning Commission and everyone who took part in the plan's <br /> development. <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> Mayor Hosterman requested support for directing staff to prepare a resolution in support of the <br /> people of Iran and the events of their recent presidential election. <br /> After briefly discussing the request, Council did not provide support to draft a formal resolution. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Thorne reported that he and other council members attended a meeting of the <br /> League of California Cities, school board members, and County Board of Supervisors in <br /> Sacramento last week. The purpose of the meeting was to consider options for improving <br /> government and the budget process.
