ATTAC 4
From: ROBERT SALLY PAINTER
Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 7:25 AM
To: Steve Otto
Subject: PCUP -249
Dear Mr. Otto,
My husband and I live at 520A St. John Street in Pleasanton, right across the street from
Barone's restaurant.
We absolutely do NOT endorse the proposal to allow nightly music on a permanent basis
and extension of bar hours until 2am. We have been tolerant of their current Thursday
night music, understanding that all businesses are doing everything they can to bring in
customers. But, extending the hours of disruptive music and resulting noise, congestion
and safety on St. John Street concerns us greatly. We are working people, early to bed
and early to rise. This change would significantly affect our quality of life in Pleasanton.
We strongly urge you to not allow this change.
If would like to speak to me personally, please feel free to call my cell phone (925) 580-
0937
Sincerely,
Sally Painter
SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided to the Planning Commission
After Distribution of Packet Q
Date Distributed: 0/ ,1' k
