THE CITY OF 1 <br /> Nsit t II sea CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL E ASANTON. <br /> August 18, 2009 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: ANALYSIS OF COMMISSIONER ABSENCES FOR THE PERIOD <br /> OF JANUARY 1 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2009 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Municipal Code establishes attendance requirements for City commissioners at <br /> regularly held commission meetings. Under the attendance reporting process, the City <br /> Manager is required to request that all commissioners whose absences exceed those <br /> as set forth in the Municipal Code provide a written response for Council's review <br /> detailing the reasons for their absences. This report is being submitted in accordance <br /> with the required procedures. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council accept the information provided. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br />
