<br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 16, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br />Thorne led in the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. He introduced and <br />commended Corporal Tyler Schmidt, U.S. Marine Corps; and PFC Matt Grubbs, U.S. Army for their <br />service and spoke of their accomplishments and military service. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook Kallio <br />Absent: Councilmember McGovern, Mayor Hosterman <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />City Manager Fialho reported that Item 2 is continued to a subsequent meeting. Councilmember <br />Thorne announced his abstention from the minutes of May 19, 2009. <br /> <br />Administrative Services <br /> <br />1. Approved the special meeting minutes of March 23, 2009 and regular meeting minutes of May <br />19, 2009. Thorne abstained from 05/19 minutes. <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />Continued <br />2. approval of a lease with Verizon Wireless for cellular antenna facilities on city <br />property located near the Bernal Corporate Business Center <br /> <br />Community Development <br /> <br />3. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator <br /> <br /> Resolution 09-298 <br />4. Adoptedconfirming the engineers report and levying the 2009-2010 <br />annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1993-1 (Windsor); <br />Resolution 09-299 <br />Adopted confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009-2010 <br />annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm); <br />Resolution 09-300 <br />Adopted confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009-2010 <br />annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch); <br />Resolution 09-301 <br />Adopted confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009-2010 <br />annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1995-1 (Moller Ranch) <br />Resolution 09-302 <br />and Adopted confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009-2010 <br />annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1984-1 (Ponderosa) <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
