B. Yield to all vehicles at yield signs; C. Yield to pedestrians at marked and unmarked crosswalks; D. Not impede traffic or interfere with the flow of vehicular traffic; E. Yield to approaching vehicles when entering any roadway; F. Not be towed by a motor vehicle at any speed or a bicycle at any unsafe speed; G. Yield bicycle lanes to bicycles and not use bicycle lanes in any way contrary to the free and open use of those lanes by bicyclists; H. Not suddenly leave a curb or other place of safety and travel into the path of a vehicle which is so close as to constitute an immediate hazard. 11.54.040 Regulations for Use on Sidewalks When skateboarding on sidewalks on which skateboarding is permitted, persons riding or propelling skateboards or similar non-motorized vehicles shall: A. Yield to all other pedestrians; B. Proceed with due care and at a safe speed when in the presence of pedestrians or on any sidewalk where there is the possibility of a pedestrian suddenly emerging onto the sidewalk from a business or residence. 11.54.050 Infraction Violation of this ordinance shall be punishable as an infraction as provided in Section 1.12,020 PMC." Section 2: Chapter 11.54 shall be added to Section 1.12.020(B) designating violations to be punishable as an infraction. Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
