If the project only requires design review approval, it <br />must have received said approval. <br /> <br />17.36,160 Application Procedure <br /> <br /> A. Any developer of a project meeting the eligibility <br />requirements shall request growth management approval prior to <br />April 1 of any given year. <br /> <br /> B. Any application for development approval shall be made <br />on the forms established by the planning division of the <br />department of community development, shall contain that <br />information necessary to properly administer the growth <br />management program and shall be filed with the director of <br />planning and community development. <br /> <br /> C. The application shall be accompanied by a fee <br />established by the resolution establishing fees and charges for <br />various municipal services. <br /> <br /> D. The city manager shall collate the applications and <br />information relevant to council's decision into a Growth <br />Management Report as required by the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan and provide a copy of the Report to each member of <br />the Council. <br /> <br />17.36.170 Approval Process. <br /> <br /> A. After receipt of the Growth Management Report, the <br />council may establish the number of units desired to be <br />constructed for the next year. If it so chooses, council may <br />establish the number of units within certain categories (e.g. <br />single family or multiple units) in order to meet the general <br />plan goals and policies. At its option, council may delay final <br />establishment of housing targets until after negotiations with <br />applicants have proceeded further. <br /> <br /> B. City council may enter into negotiations and discussions <br />with developers who have applied to ascertain how best to achieve <br />the goals of this ordinance and the general plan. Negotiations <br />shall be done by a committee comprised of the Mayor, an appointed <br />Councilmember, the City Manager, and the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> C. During the month of June, the committee shall report its <br />findings and recommendations to the city council. <br /> <br /> D. In June, the city council will, after public hearing, <br />make determinations allocating growth management approvals based <br />upon information presented by the negotiating committee and other <br />information relevant to the decision. <br /> <br /> - 4 - <br /> <br /> <br />
