<br />DRAfT HASTER PLAN fOR THE DPTS <br /> <br />· I MAG E While the Adaptive Reuse alternative will retain more of the familiar <br />building, it will be challenging to blend a new, second addition into a harmonious and <br />attractive composition with the 1960's addition and the historic building. <br /> <br />The DPTS Master Plan's recommended scheme, the Historic Reuse Plus New, will <br />allow for improvements to the image of the historic structure by removing the mod- <br />ern-appearing 1960's addition from three sides of the 1920's building. This would <br />uncover and allow for restoration of the older building's exterior brick walls.
