DRAFT "'ASTER PLAN FDR THE DPTS

JURISDICTION INFORMATION

As the current property owner, rhe County of
Alameda has primaty jurisdiction over the Regional
Trail Corridor. The County has reserved the land as
a possible site for future light rail transit, although at
this time there is no budget or schedule for such
improvements.

The East Bay Regional Park District has devel-
oped other portions of the SPRR right of way for
trail use. Shared use of the Corridor may require a
joint use agreement.

The Regional Trail Corridor intersects City of
Pleasanton land where it crosses five streets, between
Bernal Ave. and Stanley Blvd.

Where the Corridor crosses the Arroyo del Valle,
the many agencies concerned with the Arroyo may
influence construction or improvements in that
npanan zone (see Arroyo del Valle, Jurisdiction
Information).

REGIONAL TRAIL COItRIDOR DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS
39

Iril II I
