DELucCHI PARK <br /> <br />USE S : The park should accommodate the following uses: <br />Support of Farmers' Market and related activities, passive use (non-organized <br />activities, such as picnicking. walking. etc.). <br /> <br />GOALS: <br />. Provide support for activities and uses related to the Farmers' Market <br />. Cover over or improve the safety of the storm drainage ditch. <br />. Improve parking. <br />Increase number of available parking spaces by using Alameda County <br />Transportation Corridor. <br />. Add shade trees. <br />. Accommodate Regional Trail. either at edge of park or in Alameda County <br />Transportation Corridor. <br />. Determine the role of, and consider relocation or replacement of existing <br />features, such as: <br />Picnic tables, trash receptacles, drinking fountain. seating. <br />. Consider the addition of the following: <br />Fountain or water feature, children's play area, chess tables, colorful <br />planting. <br />Installation of permanent restrooms, on this site, at Wayside Park, <br />and/or at the Fire Station. <br />Means to improve connection to Wayside Park. <br /> <br />3. FIRE STATION No. I <br /> <br />USE S : The building should accommodate the following. <br />Multiple uses, daytime and evening use. handicap access. <br /> <br />GOALS: <br />. Support downtown area businesses by drawing people to the area during the <br />day and in the evening. <br />.
