CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-063 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON REQUESTING THAT THE LOCAL AGENCY <br />FORMATION COMMISSION OF ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />BEGIN PROCEEDINGS FOR THE HAPPY VALLEY <br />ANNEXATION NO. 150 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton desires to initiate proceedings pursuant <br />to the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Local Government Reorganization Act of 2000, <br />commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code for the <br />annexation to the City of Pleasanton of an approximately 520-acre area in Happy <br />Valley; and <br /> <br />notice of intent to adopt this resolution of application has been given to each <br />interested and subject agency on May 14, 2002; <br /> <br />the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited, and a description of the <br />boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />this proposal is consistent with the Sphere of Influence of the City; and <br /> <br />it is desired to provide that the proposed annexation be subject to the following <br />terms and conditions: <br /> <br />The Happy Valley Specific Plan, adopted June 16, 1998 by the City of <br />Pleasanton, as may be amended. <br /> <br />The Environmental Impact Report for the Happy Valley Specific Plan dated <br />June 16, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />
