The owner's right of appeal to the city <br /> council." <br /> <br /> Section 4: Sections 20.36.040 and 20.36,050 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "20.36.040 Alternative security provisions. <br /> <br /> The provisions of this chapter are not intended <br /> to prevent the use of any device, hardware, or <br /> method of construction not specifically prescribed <br /> in this code, when such alternate provides <br /> equivalent security and is approved by the director <br /> of building inspection of the city. <br /> <br /> 20.36,050 Administration. <br /> <br /> This chapter shall be administered by the <br /> director of building inspection as a part of the <br /> Uniform Building Code.
