Resolution No. 02-028 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on January 9, 2002, the Planning Commission found the Final EIR to be complete <br />and adequate for the Project and recommended to the City Council that the Final <br />EIR be certified; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a noticed public hearing on February 5, 2002, and <br /> considered the completeness and adequacy of the Final EIR; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in the <br />Final EIR and the information reflects the City Council's independent judgment <br />and analysis. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Certifies that the Final EIR for amendments to the General Plan and for the <br />Downtown Specific Plan has been completed in compliance with CEQA. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 5, 2002 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, and Vice Mayor Dennis <br />None <br />None <br />Councilmember Michelotti and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />PeggyTL.b'EMdro, CityJClerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
