Resolution No. PC-01-35 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />plan set submitted for the office building "shell" and for each subsequent tenant <br />improvement. The owner shall make a good faith attempt to coordinate with all <br />future tenants at the tenant improvement stage to obtain the level of "certified". <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />The project developer shall submit a waste management plan to the Building <br />Department prior to issuance of a building permit. The plan shall include the <br />estimated composition and quantities of waste to be generated and how the project <br />developer shall recycle at least fifty percent (50%) of the job site construction <br />waste. Proof of compliance shall be provided to the Director of Building <br />inspection prior to the issuance of a final building permit. During construction, <br />the project developer shall mark all trash disposal bins "trash materials only" and <br />all recycling bins "recycling materials only". The project developer shall contact <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service for all waste disposal. Only that portion of trash and <br />recycling waste refused by Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of or <br />diverted by another trash/recycling company. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />The plans submitted to the Building Department for a building permit for the shell <br />of the expansion shall identify the potential location of roof-mounted photovoltaic <br />panels and an electrical inverter relative to other roof- mounted equipment; <br />indicate the provision of a bi-directional electric meter and electrical conduit up to <br />the roof for the panels; and specify how the roof will be constructed to <br />accommodate the weight of the panels. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />The project developer shall extend electrical serve to at least six (6) parking <br />spaces in the general location shown on Exhibit "A" for electrically powered <br />commute vehicles. Upon demand by the Planning Director, the project developer <br />shall have thirty (30) days to install the actual charging equipment for some or all <br />of the spaces, and shall provide evidence to the Planning Director that the <br />installation is complete. The applicant shall install with the office building signs <br />designating the subject parking spaces. Said signage shall state "Parking for <br />Electrical Vehicles Only, Contact Building Owner for More Information". These <br />changes shall be shown on the building permit set submitted for review and <br />approval by the Planning Director before issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />The developer is encouraged to work with the City's Civic Art Commission to <br />locate the installation of public art on the site. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />The project developer shall install a bench(s) and ashtray/waste receptacle in a <br />designated smoking area at a distance of no less than 20 ft. from the building <br />entrance. This change shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted <br />for review and approval prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />The design of the bike racks shall be shown on the building permit plans and shall <br />be subject to the review and approval of the Planning Director prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br /> <br />
