Construction Requirements: 82. All initial site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Grading and construction ac- tivities associated with the extension of Vineyard Avenue shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muf- fling devices. 83. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed fi.om the site at the end of each work day. 84. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. 85. If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other on-site exca- vation, all work on site shall be stopped and the City immediately notified. The county coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission shall also be notified and proce- dures followed as required in Appendix "K" of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A similar note shall appear on the improvement plans. 86. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from existing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. Police Department Requirements: 87. The area of the development shall be tested for strength and clarity of signal to and fi.om the area for City emergency services communications including, but not limited to, City eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Services radio, Alameda County eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, CLE- MAR/Police Dispatch, and the current police mobile data system, unless waived by the Police Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert opinions may be required in anticipation of communications difficulties inside or around large structures. Mitigation plans of less than acceptable communications shall be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police De- partment prior to approval and shall be financed by the project developer immediately upon approval. Fire Department Requirements: 88. The project developer shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Pleasan- ton Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24). 89. The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber con- struction until the final inspection. Page- 19-
