enumerated in project and staff reports, public hearings, and applicant presentations; and WHEREAS, this Planning Commission (i) finds that all significant effects have been eliminated or substantially lessened where feasible as shown in Exhibit "A" and (ii) determines that any remaining effects, as summarized above, are acceptable because the economic, social, environmental, and other benefits of the project enumerated above outweigh the unavoidable adverse environmental effects; and WHEREAS, this Planning Commission further finds that the text change to the Growth Management Element clarifies and reconciles the goals and policies of the Growth Management Element; NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1: Finds the recitals contained herein are true and correct. Section 2: Recommends approval of the text change to the Growth Management Element of the General Plan, Case GP -83 -1, as described in "Exhibit B," attached hereto and made a part of this case by reference, and recommends that a City policy be adopted to require the feasible mitigation measures described in the EIR in conjunction with project approvals made pursuant to this General Plan amendment as appropriate to the circumstances. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
