PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2339 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR PLEASANTON JOINT <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT AND DEBORAH CRAIG AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />UP -83 -22 <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Joint School District and Deborah Craig have applied for <br />approval of a conditional use permit to operate a pre school daycare <br />facility for up to 65 children at the eastern end of Pleasanton <br />Elementary School (Near the intersection of Abbie and Third Streets) <br />at 4750 First Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R -1 -65 (Single family Residential) <br />District under application for rezoning to the "P" (Public <br />and Institutional) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impacts was approved for <br />the rezoning of the property as filed under case RZ -83 -5 and <br />the subject application was covered on the environmental <br />assessment for that application; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 27, 1983 the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the ordinance <br />code and the purposes of the district in which the site is located as <br />well as that under application "P" Public and Institutional); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety <br />or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or improvements <br />in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed conditional use will <br />comply with each of the applicable provisions governing conditional <br />uses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Pleasanton Joint School District and <br />Deborah Craig for a conditional use permit to operatea a pre school <br />daycare facility for up to 65 children at the eastern end of <br />Pleasanton Elementary School (near the intersection of Abbie and <br />Third Streets) at 4750 First Street subject to the condition shown <br />below: <br />
