CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1443 AN ORDINANCE TO ADD NEW SECTIONS TO CHAPTER 18.32 OF TITT~ 18, CHAPTER 18.36 OF TITLE 18 AND CHAPTER 18.116 OF TITLE 18 OF THE PT~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE TO AT.TOW CHRISTMAS TREE LOTS AS TEMPORARY CONDITIONAL LAND USES IN R-1 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY) AND RM (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, the City has applied to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton to conditionally allow the temporary sales of Christmas trees in multi-family and other residential zoning districts; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the proposed Ordinance Code amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that when properly conditioned the temporary sales of Christmas trees would be appropriate within residential zoning districts. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 18.32.045 of Chapter 18.32 of Title 18, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby added to read as follows: 18.32.045 Temporary Conditional Use in R-1 Districts. The following conditional use shall be permitted upon the granting of a temporary conditional use permit in accord with the provisions of Section 18.116.050: Christmas tree sales lots. Section 2: Section 18.36,045 of Chapter 18.36 of Title 18 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby added to read as follows: 18.36,045 Temporary Conditional Use in RM Districts. The following conditional use shall be permitted upon the granting of a temporary conditional use permit in accord with the provisions of Section 18.116.050: Christmas tree sales lots. Page 1
